Top Bboy dancer Djilali Arafat from Paris, has joined us. We are totally psyched to have him as part of the team!

Here's abit more about our bboy Djilali:

How did you get in to dance?
I started dancing because of a girl, I knew she took contemporary dance every Tuesday at a school named
"No Made."

My only way to meet her, and befriend her was to attend the same class; thats what I did. However, what I didn't know was that I was going to fall in love with something else; dance.

"Since then dancing became my language overcoming very boundaries. Thats my language and I breathe it, share it. Dancing is my universal language."

When was your first battle?
I did my first battle after almost 2 years of dance. My first battle was a small street battle, we lost in the semi finals; but it was a very cool experience. I was so proud of me and my team!

How many battles have you won?
Something like 20 battles, in different countries.
Where did you learn to dance?
Its not really where, because all the time you learn, I mean by travel, by battle, by meeting, by training, is not only the about the move is also about the spirit, the soul of the dancer.
How old were you on your first battle?
I was 15 yeah, haha.
Whats your favourite track to dance to?
You know, the dancers listen to different kinds of music, but one song that drives me crazy, i’ll say Ramble On by Led Zeppelin.

Did you ever go out with that girl, after all that effort?
Yes of course, she was my first love we were together for a year and a half.
