What a great time to be alive!
I got to go see The Goo Goo Dolls last night at Camden Round House. They played an epic set with all the oldies but goodies, of course we all sung along like maniac's when John sung iris. Arrrrr was lovely... their new album Miracle Pill is utterly amazing I must say. If you haven't heard it I've it a listen, you wont be disappointed!
I've seen Goo Goo Dolls before live, they always come through with the goods, and haver great banter too. They have such a diverse sound, some really grungy - punk songs, and then more mellow, pop rock. I lapped it all up and throughly enjoyed it all.
Got to go meet John the lead singer, seriously one of the nicest humans I've ever met, so friendly and chatty.
I clearly felt very comfortable by the relaxed non-sense look on my face! Awesome night - thanks to every one that made it happen, especially Kas!
